AFTER MARYMOUNT: Our Graduates

What happens to Marymount of Santa Barbara students after they graduate? Faculty and administration work closely with parents and students to prepare for that transition. We are proud of the variety of secondary schools in which our students place: their paths are as diverse as their talents and interests.

Some choose to continue their studies at area independent schools. Some prefer the experience of a large public high school. Others decide to attend boarding schools around the country. Our students’ college and university choices are as varied as their secondary school selections-Ivy League universities on the East coast, small liberal arts colleges such as Oberlin, California’s stellar system of state schools, and some even don the black gowns of Oxford and Cambridge in England.

Wherever our graduates go, they leave Marymount of Santa Barbara with a sense of self and purpose, a global sensibility, and a foundation for academic and personal success.
