Application Checklist:

Schedule a Campus Tour

Regularly scheduled parent/guardian group tours are from September through January. Tours are given February through June on an individual basis.  Junior Kindergarten through 5th grade tours are given on Wednesday mornings, and 6th-8th grade tours are given on Tuesday mornings.  A parent tour is required before submitting an application. If you would like to schedule a tour, please contact the Admission Office at (805) 569-1811, ext. 131 or mseguel@marymountsb.org.

Open Houses

  • Tuesday, October 26, 2010 - Lower School Coffee
  • Thursday, November 4, 2010 - Middle School Lunch
  • Sunday, January 30, 2011 - All-School Junior Kindergarten - Grade 8 Open House
  • Thursday, February 24, 2011 -  Middle School Preview Night

Application

The application deadline is February 9, 2011.  Interested applicants should submit an application with the $150 processing fee by the due date for priority consideration.  Rolling admissions occur after the deadline based on available space.

Teacher Observation Form

Give the confidential Teacher Observation Form to your child’s current teacher so that the teacher can complete and return the form directly to the Marymount Admission Office.

Consent for Records Release Form

Give the Consent for Records Form to your child’s current school registrar who will mail a transcript directly to Marymount. Please do not send this form to our office with your application.

Student Observation and Assessment

Once all application materials have been received, you will be contacted to schedule an assessment for your child.  Applicants for grades 6-8 must register in advance to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). For more information about ISEE testing, visit the ISEE website.
